I’m a quant researcher and engineer. Right now I’m on a noncompete, going deep on modern deep learning.

One of my favorite things is spotting similar ideas in unrelated fields, that “wait, I’ve seen this before” feeling. Many of the pieces on the Writing page chase that.

Previously I spent four years on systematic fixed income trading at TD Securities Automated Trading (formerly Headlands Tech Global Markets), and before that, I worked on ML for supply chain and personalization at Amazon.

Gymnastics has been a lifelong thing. I still toss the occasional tkatchev. Vegan since 2016.
